When I had a series of falls recently I knew I had unfortunately graduated to the multiple sclerosis status where I needed a more serious walking aid at certain times. Then when I had my first bladder cancer surgery I found out you get a walker included with your surgery and that was great because I really needed one. And since the surgery I've used the walker whenever I'm walking significant distances and mostly even when I'm walking short distances. But I'm happy to report that now the walker lives in my living room and I only use it when I have to leave the house and that return to pseudo independence makes me personally very happy.
